My daughter is failing all of her classes, with the exception of ceramics. She is a very smart girl. She simply does not apply herself. She does well on her exams, as she is able to retain the information that she learns in class. She just refuses to do homework. This results in failing grades. I have tried everything! I have taken away privileges, but it does not seem to phase her. I am at my wits end and no longer know what to do. She loves her ceramics class, a she finds it interesting. She has no interest in her other courses, so she does not apply herself in them.
