Venting your frustrations, anxiety, and feelings is good for you. There are many ways individuals do that. Some choose to play sports or lift weights. Others go jogging or something. The goal of each person is to find an outlet. If you don’t release those feelings they will build inside you. Having such feelings are a normal part of life for all of us. However, you need to remember that you control your emotions, not the other way around.

One of the best releases I have found for my emotions is writing. It is a great way to express yourself. Just jot down everything you think and feel. Don’t worry about how it flows; the goal is just to get it all down on paper. It may sound silly, but try it. You will be amazed at the results. Don’t worry about your writing; no one else is going to be reading your material.

Writing for pleasure or to express yourself doesn’t require any training. A journal is great for writing down anything and everything you want to. Girls are more known to use this method of release, but it works well for men too. It is simply to open the book and pour your heart onto the paper. This is a healthy way to acknowledge and release your negative energy. If you are interested in formal writing or plan to create a screenplay, then a writing class or two might benefit you. There are many such courses at your local college and online.
