Public Schools Disadvantages
Numerous parents who send their kids off to public schools presume that their children will get a good education and overlook to examine closely the public school system or look into other options. Although public schools do deliver at least a basic education, they do come with several disadvantages. Furthermore, you may be looking for more than just a basic education for your child.
Although most people consider socialization as a benefit of the public schooling system, it in fact, is not. Although attending public school exposes children to other children of various ages, most school children only interact with kids in their class, or mostly kids who are in the same grade as they are. School kids get little opportunity to interact with kids of other ages. Actually, more often than not when they come across younger kids, they tease or bully them. At the same time, they spend a lot of energy trying to evade older kids, so that they will not be bullied or teased themselves. As for adults, school kids hardly interact with them. A home schooling environment, on the other hand, provides a more normal social environment and gives children more opportunities for social interaction.
Sending your children to public school is the easily managed choice, but if you care to put a little extra consideration and labor into your children’s education, you will most likely discover that public schools have many downfalls. Home schooling may be a useful option and a credible method to escape the downfalls of public schools.
