However, that same generation is now embracing the speed and convenience of shopping via the ‘net, and in doing so broadening the potential audience for e-businesses. Assuming those Web merchants are savvy enough to have credit card processing. At the beginning of this year in excess of 80% of all purchases over the ‘net were paid for with plastic and that number is expected to rise during the next 12 months.
